On September 9, 2017, members from Ralston Fire completed the NFFF 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation works to provide families of fallen firefighters with support and benefits that they are entitled to and have available. The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is equivalent to climbing 110 stories as our FDNY brothers did almost 16 years ago. There are stair climbs all throughout the United States raising funds for this organization. This year, Ralston Fire was able to raise $445. We hope to exceed that number next year. The climbers this year were: Training Chief Ben Burbridge, Firefighter/Paramedic Carrie Wagner, EMT Kylee Sparano, EMT Jared Cudaback and EMT Lauryn Dewald.
