If you require official written documentation of a Nebraska State Fire Inspection regarding your business or residency, please contact the Nebraska State Fire Marshal office using their online form or contact your designated district inspector by division and county.
Note: Ralston Volunteer Fire and Rescue does not possess authority having jurisdiction on instructing building development or servicing water suppression systems. Ralston Fire conducts inspections on the basis of fire safety and prevention through pre-incident planning.
Pre-Incident Plan
Our Ralston fire inspections are not punitive because we are not building code enforcers. We offer local pre-incident plan related safety recommendations based on NFPA Standards (National Fire Protection Association). We want to give property owners peace of mind. No matter the business or residence, safety inspections affirm public trust and advocacy.
Evaluations consist of mapping structure/campus layout for firefighting operations, identifying potential fire hazards, proper storage of flammable materials, fire detection devices, establishing emergency contacts, adequacy of emergency exits, and evacuation plans.
If you’d like to know more please submit a request using our Contact Form and a representative will connect with you to answer questions or schedule an inspection date.
