Youth Fire Education
Fire doubles in size every 30 seconds and NFPA data shows preschoolers are most at risk. Talk with your children and make sure they know to exit the building immediately instead of hiding. Smoke rises and smoke inhalation causes a person to go unconscious. Ensure your loved ones know to get low on the ground if conditions are smokey.
Stop–Drop–And–Roll when your cloths catch fire. Ensure your face and mouth is covered by your hands.
Schedule a Visit
Visitors wanting a station tour are welcome to schedule 2-3 weeks in advance. For groups of 5 or less, station tours are available without appointment. For groups larger than 5, a scheduled tour is requested. Please have two potential dates ready, organization name, contact name and phone number. Visit our contact form.
Note: Ralston Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad Inc is volunteer and the station is not staffed at all times.
