Explorer Student

Are you a high school student looking to get into the firefighting or medical service? Look no further! At Ralston Volunteer Fire and Rescue we have the team and resources you need to learn everything you need to know to have a headstart in the field. The RFD Explorer Post 100 is currently looking for high school student ages 15-18 to join our explorer program.

This program will run August-May and will meet twice a month Mondays 1900-2100 (7pm-9pm). During this time, you will receive a CPR certification, stop the bleed certification, basic training to be a Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician, and an insight to the Ralston Fire Department.
